DENTAL IMLANTS & DENTURES

Dr Pelletier has been restoring dental implants for his patients for over 20 years.Today, patients will be much more satisfied when missing teeth are replaced with restored teeth that look and function like our natural teeth. Dental implants allow dentists to come the closest to natural teeth. Dr. Pelletier currently works with several oral surgeons and periodontists in the area to perform a team approach to dental implant therapy. After careful daignosis and treatment planning, he will have the root portion of the implant(s) placed by the team's surgeon, and then he will complete the crown or tooth portion of the restoration. He works with several leading dental implant manufacturing company's systems and also works with high quality dental labs that are experienced in fabricating these precise restorations.

Dr. Pelletier is also very experienced in restoring missing teeth with removable dentures.A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are two types of dentures: partial dentures and complete dentures. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain, while complete dentures are used to completely replace all teeth. Dentures are made to resemble your natural teeth so there should be no noticeable change to your appearance. In some cases, dentures may even improve your smile!
Complete Dentures - This restoration method is used to restore your smile and mouth function if all your teeth have been lost. The dentures are custom created to resemble natural teeth and are positioned into a patients mouth to take the place of where the natural teeth used to be. Complete dentures are removable and may require adjustments in order to create a proper fit with the gums and mouth.
Partial Dentures - A removable partial denture is a device used when at least two or more natural teeth still remain in the upper or lower jay. A partial denture is usually fabricated from a combination of a metal framework, pink acrylic base and tooth colored acrylic teeth. The metal framework is custom fabricated to fit to the remaining teeth and jaw structure to provide a stable appliance that is supported by these structures to allow for chewing and function.
